DESCRIPTION

Side A: Detail of Europa riding across the sea on the back of the bull-shaped god Zeus. Other figures depicted in the scene (see other images) are the fish-tailed sea-gods Triton and Scylla, the love-god Pothos, flying above sprinkling desire, and in a corner panel Aphrodite and Adonis.
Side B: Dionysus with Satyrs and Maenads (not shown).
