IMBRASOS was a River-God of the island of Samos in the Greek Aegean.
The Imbrasos stream was a small stream on Samos Island. Other personified Aegean island rivers included the Inopos of Delos, and Amnisos of Krete.
Pausanias, Description of Greece 7. 4. 4 (trans. Jones) (Greek travelogue C2nd A.D.) :
"The Samians hold that the goddess [Hera] was born in the island by the side of the river Imbrasos."
