DESCRIPTION
The god Dionysus stands with an arm resting on the shoulder of a Satyriscus (boy-Satyr). He is portrayed as a nude youth with long hair crowned with a wreath of grapes. The Satyr, wearing a goat-skin cape and holding a shepherd's crock, is perhaps the god's cup-bearer Comus.
