DESCRIPTION
The Phoenician sisters Eurypalaea and Europa aare carried off by the gods Poseidon (Roman Neptune) and Zeus (Roman Jupiter) in the guise of a winged, fish-tailed leopard and fish-tailed bull respectively. Alternatively the figures might be two Nereids riding mythical sea-creatures.
