THYMBRIS was a prophetic Arkadian Oreiad- or Epimelid-nymph who, according to one account, was the mother of the goat-legged god Pan by Zeus.
Thymbris is related to the nymphs Sose and Penelopeia who are elsewhere named as the mother of Pan.
